Immigration Success Stories from Clients based in the USA

It was in September 2006 after another day at our busy restaurant; Susanne and I were relaxing on our lanai in Englewood Florida. I received another email from my US lawyer with regard to renewing my US visa. The rules have changed again; in order to stay in the US I must now show a larger than ever profit, I must also always return to the UK to be interviewed and that London will take up to 18 months to look over my paperwork, so, I had better hurry up and get my visa paperwork in, or if I would pay an extra thousand dollars, they could apply to reissue my I94 for 2 years (permission to stay) in 3 months, what would I like to do, the only downside was if I wanted to leave the country for any reason , someone sick in the family then I could not come back until I had the visa.

This was just one of an endless barrage of notes sending the paperwork to London was a risk because there was no guarantee that they would look at it in time, don’t worry my lawyer said just go home and wait. How am I supposed to run my business whilst sitting in London, I don’t know, but if you pay the extra thousand dollars on top of the 6000 fee we can get your stay extended and then you can apply to London and all will be well. I had had enough! Staying in the US if you are a legal alien was becoming increasingly difficult and expensive, we are not allowed to have a drivers license for more than one year, if you arrived in the last year or so you will not be eligible for credit, or be able to get a mortgage.

I had wanted to go to Canada for a number of years but was not sure if Susanne wanted to or not, I knew that she loved Canada as we had visited and had wonderful vacations in Campbell river and Victoria, so we talked. Susanne was born in Syracuse New York and only came to Florida when her parents moved down here. She spent a lot of time in Canada, and loved it; she also missed the seasons, only something you realize when you live in Florida for a while! So we hunted on the web for information. We found a wealth of information asked each other if this was what we really wanted, the other choice would be the UK, which I would have loved but Susanne was unsure. We eventually stumbled across Avatar’s website. After having only dealt with US lawyers for the past 6 years, I was expecting the usual response; want to know more, then, pay me first! So I was truly amazed when the phone rang and Russell Monsurate was on the line, this just does not happen in the US unless they have a large retainer, and are billing you at least $250 per hour just to say hi. From there on in we were both truly impressed with everyone at Avatar, our questions were answered promptly and there were a lot of them, we were treated with kindness, patience, and more importantly respect.

The first step is to fill in a lot of paperwork which can seem daunting, details like where you have lived since you were eighteen, which, depending on your age and memory retention skills can be tricky!! However by November we had completed all the paperwork gathered all documents and sent the package to Delphine. Delphine, what can you say, this lady is truly a treasure! It did not seem to matter how dumb my questions or at what time of day, whether it was a weekday or the weekend, she always answered promptly, courteously, and helpfully. By Dec 15th we had received our file number, which in itself was amazing. We knew the long wait was ahead. Like anybody else waiting we would email Delphine in the hope that she may have received some news. She always responded with words of encouragement, Russell took the time and trouble to telephone and put our minds at rest that this is a waiting game and to just not worry. He always took the time to send interesting articles suggest books, even therapy for my migraines, and yes I read the books and tried the therapy for my migraines, truly service beyond the usual going on here!

On December 21st 2007 I returned home to find a message to phone A1 immediately, it was 8 o clock my time which is 5 pm Vancouver time, and I wondered if anyone would be there, it was the Friday before Christmas. Ryan answered the phone and in his usual polite and helpful manner, said that Delphine had news, but had left it was Christmas after all, I knew what it was or I hoped I knew so I then paced around the room waiting to here. It was the news that we have been waiting for we had been accepted and best yet INTERVIEW WAIVED. I was so excited it was almost pathetic, the best Christmas present ever!

In January of 2008 we applied for our criminal records, attended medicals and sent all paper work off accordingly. All that was left was to wait for immigration to finalize these things and then we would get the call to send in our passports. That call came on April 30th, again we ran around the room like two over excited children. Today is June 6th we have in our hand our passports with a Canadian visa in them, WOW this is not a dream! All that is left is to finish packing up our belongings and start the journey to our new lives………… just being able to type those words seems surreal……….WOW.

So to everyone at Avatar…..especially Delphine and Russell thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything, thank you for putting up with our funny little ways and for always showing true professionalism and kindness it is a rare quality! We would recommend Avatar in a heartbeat and are very glad that we found you on that night back in September 2006. See you in Vancouver our NEW HOME!!!!!!

The day after the TAX DAY in USA, we had an appointment at the Canadian Embassy regarding our immigrant application. We were very nervous. The appointment was in NYC, only 45 min away. We had butterflies in our stomach. We didn’t know what to expect from them.

We were outside the building on 6th AVENUE at 7:30am, even tough our appointment was at 8:30am. There were couple of people outside the revolving door, that opens at 8am. We were out side the building and it was chilly. At 8 am, when the door opened, a few people rushed in and ran down the stairs as the embassy was in the basement. We and few people were left behind. We were told by the security guards to wait upstairs and outside the building till some one calls us.

We were told to stand on the walkway by the street next to a lamppost as we are waiting for a bus or taxi. There were no signs on the street for the Canadian Embassy.

Around 8:15 am the same guard came and started giving instructions for visa applications, pictures and payments. Then we were escorted to the consulate down stairs. We went thru the check point and were given the ticket to wait for our turn for the interview. We were the first for the interview.

We were praying for the better. Our number was called and we went into the small interview room. The lady introduced her self, but forget the name. I introduced my self. She was very nice and pleasant and had sense of humor. She explained that she called because some things in the application were not adding up, and needed clarification.

The passing numbers was 67. We went through the application. She directly went to the education and certificates and the years that we had put on the application. It was an error while filling the application on our behalf. The year on the Business Administration Degree was listed as 1992 instead of 1990. We explained her that. After that she asked about the entry to US. I gave her the copy of my I-94.

She was satisfied and after that she wanted to established the relation ship with Amna’s aunt and mother. We had obtained copy of Amna’s mother from Pakistan with Fathers full name and her aunt’s copy of degree with the fathers name and after that we were able to establish the relationship. During all this process she kept on putting the information in the computer in our file.

She kept on smiling. She asked if we had any transcripts from school. Which we did not have, but told her that we can get if needed. It will take some time as it is 18 years old and it was no computers at that time. She was fine with the degree after that. She stated adding points and it came to 74. She was happy and told us that we passed and CONGRATULATIONS.

We both were relieved. She asked us if anything new she need to know about. We told her that Amna is pregnant and is due in the first week of June. She congratulated us and told her that we need to add the baby after birth and give them the copy of birth certificate and go thru the medical. She told us to wait until goes to the assistant consular and get the medical papers ready. We should wait outside until called. We thanked her very much and she was smiling and was happy for us, I guess. We came out of the room like the weight of the world was lifted of our shoulders.

We were very happy and satisfied and making plans for the future. We waited in the waiting room, which was filled now with applicants for visa’s. After 20 min, our name was called and we went to window 3. We were given medical papers with our name on them and that was the end of the interview.

Thanks to Mr. Russell Monsurate and his entire team for this, from the bottom of our heart.

Hi Russ and team,

This email is to convey my gratitude for the excellent work done by you and your team for getting my immigration application approved.

My special thanks to Russ, Del, Desiree and Ryan. I've communicated with all these people at one point or another during my processing. It took only one year from the time I got my file number to the actual approval (I applied from the USA as I live there). I also got my INTERVIEW WAIVED. I just finished with my medicals today and I believe that I'm very close to the final moment.

This all started with a casual search in Google about the firms through which I could apply for Canadian immigration.

It is only by accident that I came across this web site; but when I read, the profiles of Russ and Del and the rest of the team , I knew that I had found what I was looking for.

I initially applied for my sister and her husband (that was from India - it is still under processing) through Avatar, and I was very impressed by the amount of attention the Avatar team was giving that application (and therefore, to every application).

I didn't have to think twice when it was time to apply for myself. Russ and his team did a good job of preparing my documents; submitted it to CIC and I got my file number in less than 2 months.

Meanwhile, Russ advised me to write the IELTS exam.  I tried to procrastinate as much as possible, but a nice ultimatum from Russ did the trick. :) Within 3 months of writing my IELTS test I got the good news from Russ saying that my application was accepted by CIC without an interview... wow !!!

And here I am! I highly recommend Avatar for anyone seriously looking to apply for Canadian immigration without going through many hassles. They are committed: you just need to commit yourselves.

Dear Russell
and Team Avatar,

When I first thought about immigrating to Canada, like most people I went online in search of information. I came across many websites with information on how to apply, however, on most of these sites, I was given information which left with me with more questions than answers.

Next I turned to online forums but it seemed like people were there more to pat themselves on the back than answer questions, and even when they did I was never really satisfied with the answers. "A little knowledge is always dangerous"

That's when I started looking online for professional representation, because no matter what, I did not want my case to fail. I have heard of horror stories where people have waited 3, 4, 5 years or more, only to get a refusal in the mail.

I am so glad that after much searching I eventually found your site. Reading about your success rate and testimonials prompted me to fill out a free Online assessment – Glad I did immediately…otherwise I would just have delayed my own entry into Canada!

Your company was the only one to get back to me so quickly, and sometimes answered questions within an hour or two. I am now ecstatic to say I made the right choice with Avatar Immigration. They gave me an agreement with a full money back policy and on top of that split my
payment into three installments.

I am glad to report that my application is on track for completion and I received interview waiver! Getting a interview waiver cuts the processing time down by a year or even more, and these days with processing times trailing off into the horizon, every month counts.

With Avatar at my side, no stone was left unturned. They were so thorough that they even found even small inconsistencies in the information I provided them and corrected them immediately.

Del and everyone on Team Avatar Canada were very helpful and guided me throughout the whole process, many a times going out of their way to contact me even during weekends just so that any pending issues got resolved at the earliest.

I remember a couple of occasions when some particular documents were to be processed from 3rd world countries.

Their experience and fortitude helped me come through – when I had all but given up, their encouragement and confidence in their work kept me going. You were the best insurance money can buy!

Your are best….bar none !!! Keep up the excellent work !!!

I have already recommended your services to those seeking entry into Canada and will continue to do so.

Once again, A BIG Thank you very much to Del and all of the staff that helped process my application at Avatar.

With Warm Wishes and Best Regards,

I am very thankful to Russell and Delphine from Avatar Canada, who are helping me at every step of my Canadian Immigration Process.

In the beginning, I was quite hesitant about even getting started with the process.  There was so much information to sift through online and so much more that I couldn't even find online.

With Avatar at my side I felt confident about my chances of success. When I got started they were there to remind me to send them the documentation they needed when I felt like procrastinating and as a result I received a file number much quicker than expected.

I started using their services in February 2005 and then slacked off a bit. Finally, after they motivated me to get moving again I mailed them my documents and my case was filed in September of 2005.

I am now very excited to hear that I have shaved a good 6 to 9 months off of my processing time because I have received a waiver of interview.  All I have left to do now is get my medicals and Police Clearances done.

I am still working on it but Russell and Delphine are always there to help me. I am very happy with their speedy response times and once I get my Canadian residency I am definitely going to use them to help the rest of my family immigrate to Canada as well.

I'd like to thank all of the excellent staff at Avatar Immigration as well as the Visa Officer assigned to my case.

Hi Russ,

Here is my story for anyone in the US given the new challenges with regard to employers being fined and the attendant uproar over the issuance of Visas to foreign workers.

Anyone would think that obtaining a Master's Degree in the US would be the end of all one's problems. They were the beginning of mine. Absurd as it may sound many firms do not want to go thru the hassles of processing an H1B Visa and was distraught at not being able to stay for longer than one year after my graduation. Yes, I would have to leave the country actually!

Over Half a Million People Jammed the Streets of Downtown
Los Angeles on Saturday, in Opposition to Proposed Legislation
on Illegal Immigration..

According to official estimates, the number of undocumented people grew from 8.4 million in 2000 to 12 million today

So, with a Masters Degree in hand and just one year left to live in the US, I was desperately searching for a solution, when a friend mentioned Russell and AI. I am now grateful to Divine inspiration that our paths crossed. Del was so patient and meticulous and always had a word or two of encouragement for me. Russ was patient during the times when I was economically challenged and emotionally distraught. He always put my interests at heart over anything else.

I want to mention a special vote of thanks to Del for her relentless attention to detail. There were times when I delayed sending my documents and Del constantly kept me on track. I am sure the attention to detail and professionalism had something to do with my Interview being waived. I also wish to thank the Visa Officer for his/her compassion, kindness and fairness.

The waiver was very helpful as that spared me from making a trip to Buffalo, NYC...... and having to go through the tension and uncertainty of an interview and possible failure.

Del, and the Avatar Team are 'Ordinary People with Extraordinary qualities of heart and mind"

Will you be next? What are you waiting for? Make Canada your alternative option.

Here are further reasons why.....good luck and May God Bless you all!

H1-B VISA PERMANENT RESIDENCY VISA
Visa holder has to leave US if he/she has been laid-off or if the company closes down. Residents are free to take their own time to find another job.
Visa holders have to go back to their country if their Green Cards are not applied before the 6 year limit on H1-Bs expires. Residents receive a Permanent Residency Visa which is similar to US Green Card when they land in Canada .
Visa holders face visa renewal risk when returning from traveling to another country. Residents are allowed to travel as frequently as they wish.
Visa holder cannot change his/her sponsoring employer. Residents can change employers and locations at any time.
Visa holders are not permitted to start their own businesses. Residents can own businesses of their choice.
Visa holders cannot sponsor dependents other than spouse or children. Residents can sponsor other family members also who are dependent upon them. (parents, brothers, sisters)
Spouse of visa holder has to arrange for sponsorship from potential employers to work in US. Spouse of resident also receives a Permanent Residency Visa. Therefore he/she is also free to work anywhere in Canada .
Visa holders have to wait a long time to get citizenship. Residents only need 3 years of residence in Canada which entitles them to apply for citizenship.

The Light at the End of the Tunnel:
A Bangladeshi’s journey to Canada

I write this testimonial as a truly grateful woman, whose family has now immigrated to beautiful British Columbia, Canada. My family and I have started a bright new life here in Canada. We have been through some living nightmares in the past seven years and it is such a delight to know that we are finally able to put all those things past us and to start anew. AI has given us the opportunity to work towards our goals in a place that is perfect for entrepreneurial-minded people. Our dreams of starting a new business are finally coming true. Canada is truly a great place to raise a family!

Although I was born an American citizen, my husband was born in Bangladesh and entered the United States in January of 1994 on a student visa.

Our journey together began some seven years ago when we married in December of 1999. With all the restrictions and alarm over immigrants in the U S, particularly those with certain origins, religious beliefs and ethnic backgrounds since 9-11, immigration for certain groups became next to impossible.

The fact that my Husband was a Muslim did not help either. As a result, my husband was not allowed to stay in the U S. My husband had committed no crime, and had entered the U S legally in 1994 as a student, his documents were in order and he was married to a US citizen. You would think that would make it easier wouldn’t you? I was naïve enough to think so.

My husband is well educated, having completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Dhaka University in Bangladesh and his Master’s Degree in Business Administration and World Economics from Indiana University in the USA. He is very experienced and has worked for several large companies in the States. He has a reputation of being an excellent Business Manager and Accountant.

My husband was young and naïve back in 1994 when he was first trying to immigrate to the US and being new to the country, he never questioned or asked anything about the process or what he was getting for his money. It is a shame to know that immigrants are prey for those companies and individuals who can and do take advantage of them. Not all are that way, but for the ones that are, it is a nightmare to the people trying to immigrate. It is devastating for families to face problems such as deportation and separation.

In spite of thousands of dollars spent, and many forms filed with fees paid, the US immigration department did not recognize his marriage to me or my petition for change of residency on his behalf. I filed my petition in December of 1999. It was received and dated with a receipt of March, 2000. I will not go into a lot of detail, but like many thousands of people, my husband was not given what he paid for.

There were mistakes made by the attorney and the immigration department. It was a nightmare. We even asked for help from several California Congressmen and women and even two Utah Senators. No one helped. The result? My husband was issued a voluntary deportation order. He was given three months to leave. Where was he going to go? How could they expect him to just leave his wife and daughter? We were determined that he was not going anywhere. We were going to fight!

You cannot imagine what the last few years were like, fearing every moment that at some point immigration officers or police would come and take my husband away. We were hearing things like that in the media on a daily basis. It was a fear that my daughter and I lived with for three years. We wanted to be together as a family and so we had some decisions to make.

We were forced to sell our home, with only two weeks time in which to move. We moved into my mom’s home in another state and lived in her basement apartment. With no income, we had to think of something fast. The money from the sale of the house was not going to last forever and we needed to make a living.

Not being quitters, we opened our own accounting firm and struggled to build a new business. It was an uphill climb all the way full of challenges and things to learn. I got a full time job and traveled 120 miles a day to work and back. It was more difficult than words can express. There were days of despair and extreme mental and physical fatigue. We all felt stressed and worn out.

We realized that we needed to have a plan B in case we could not get the U S immigration mess straightened out. After searching and asking many questions of US immigration specialists, we chose to go to Canada. It was the best option and the closest to where family and friends were.

I loved the idea immediately. I had visited Canada years before, when my sister and brother-in-law moved to Fort St. John, British Columbia. I fell in love with BC. It left an incredible impression on me and to this day I still remember the awe and wonder I felt while in BC with all its natural beauty and magnificent wildlife.

Having already been through so much trouble and having found out the hard way that the immigration process is difficult with so many forms to fill out; we knew that we had to obtain help. Finding a good representative who is knowledgeable and well versed in immigration law and procedure is key to success. We went through many lists of possible Canadian Immigration companies. We even called quite a few. We were concerned about our case being handled well and by people we could trust. We had already lost thousands of dollars. We did not want to waste any more time or money.

We wanted to make sure that we found a professional, a well-informed and trustworthy individual to handle our case. We did not want a repeat of the mistakes and problems we had already gone through. After going through quite a few possibilities on our three page list and a lot of praying, we went back to the list and called AI, (Avatar Immigration Consultancy).

We had already gone through their website and asked many additional questions. Mr. Russell Monsurate was both cordial and professional. Not only that, it was evident that he was credentialed and a Member of CSIC - Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants. He personally had the training and the expertise we needed. When talking to him, I felt a great sense of security. We knew right away that we would be in competent hands if we chose to go through Avatar Immigration. So, we decided to hire him and his company to handle our immigration case. And guess what? It was the very best thing we could have ever done! Their professionalism could define excellence!

Mr. Monsurate and his Avatar Team went the extra mile and then some, to make sure we were well informed about each and every step of the process. They gave us Red Carpet treatment from the very beginning. They quoted their fee and the total cost. No hidden charges! No disbursement fees!

What they quoted and what they promised was exactly what we got, yet there was so much more!

We knew exactly what to expect because they prepared us so well. There were no surprises and their positive attitude lifted our spirits and gave us hope. We began to think and believe that everything was going to work just as we had hoped.

Our whole immigration process was practically effortless on our end. We successfully immigrated to Canada and made two new friends. Russ and Delphine spent far more time with us than they had to. Russ spent late nights advising us and even talked to my mother at 9 pm in the evening when she needed his help, even though she was not his client. He sacrificed his time to answer her call and stayed up late so that her questions were answered she and that she was at peace. He went beyond the call of duty to ensure that we were getting the service we needed, even though there was no obligation for him to go the extra mile. It was obvious that he and AI genuinely cared about our needs.

An added bonus was that their help did not stop after my family landed in Canada. They continued to offer us help and suggestions after we arrived. We were so grateful for the advice they offered us on finding work, associations we could contact to train and getting our PR cards, maps and transportation. They even offered to let us use their phone and fax machine to transmit résumé’s and help with the job search. We have been so pleased with the way they handled our case that we have referred others.

My husband found a job working as a Business Manager in a new accounting firm in less than a month. It seems that the people of Vancouver are a helpful and friendly group of people. What a welcome relief that was to us. Even our landlords and all the extended visitors that come to see us from time to time have been helpful and we have made many new friends.

My husband is a new man. He is enjoying the challenge of working in this new job and is confident that the future is definitely much brighter. In a year or two we are planning on opening our own business and developing new relationships with the wonderful people of the area. It is good to see him really smile and laugh again. My daughter is so excited. She has been studying Canada for two years now via the internet and books from the library. Although she was nervous about school and meeting new kids, she has found acceptance and great new courses to keep her happy. She can hardly wait to learn Japanese and French along with developing her art and musical talents. Seeing my family happy is a wonderful and profound gift. God has been watching out for us and has heaped many blessings on our family.

We love Canada. Vancouver is so beautiful, with so many possibilities. It is a dream, a vision and the light at the end of a very long tunnel.

The new license plate on the car reads, Beautiful British Columbia. Our family could not agree more. To us, it is the most beautiful place on earth and it is home. All we can say is, Thank you Avatar Immigration, you have given meaning to our lives!

My wife and I have wanted to become a part of Canada via Immigration for many years but the process seemed to be quite complex... So in 2005 when we decided to get serious about making our dream a reality we searched for a firm to represent us that would give us the best chance of realizing our goals.

Luck must have played a factor, but from the first telephone conversation with Russ, we felt good about our selection. Russell Monsurate and his team at Avatar have helped us in every way imaginable through the immigration process.  Words of praise fall pitifully short in showing how grateful we are.

It is very apparent that for those working at Avatar, that this is far more than a business. The long phone calls that answered all of our questions, the usually instant email responses (even on holidays and weekends sometimes) and the sincere interest and concern that were all above and beyond what would normally be expected.

As a result of the way our case has been handled we are actually ahead of schedule with our plans to move to Canada. Russ and his excellent team have created a new reality for us. Our sincere and heartfelt thanks to Avatar, Russ, Del and all of those that made this all possible.

Russell and Del were wonderful in accomplishing what I thought was an impossible task. I applied for Landed Immigrant Status almost a year ago and through the persistence and dedication of the staff at AI, the paperwork has been accepted and I now have a Permanent Resident Card allowing me to live in Canada. I married a Canadian citizen and thought the process would be simple with a minimum of bureaucracy.

The paperwork seemed more complicated than a government contract to build an aircraft.  Russ seemed to know all the proper verbiage to allow the process an efficient flow and the results speak for their expertise.

I would gladly recommend AI to anyone who wanted to legally enter Canada and not have to worry about unnecessary delays. They will not only make the experience enjoyable, but also become your friends.

My wife and I are also building a new home to start my life in Canada as a retiree. This is an early picture of the home and our move in date should be in two weeks. We are looking forward to inviting Russ, Del, and their family to join us for the dedication and housewarming, hoping they feel as much at home as we felt at their house.

Thank you very much Russ and Del,

Hello Russ,

You don't have to thank me .I am the one to thank you. Thank you so much for the sincerity and commitment you have both shown towards our case.

You have a good looking family and it clearly shows where they get their good looks from, and I don't mean you! (haha, just kidding)

Hearing that we had received a file number in only one month was very surprising news, but of course, I am overjoyed.

Once again thanks for being not only my immigration consultant, but my friend. I look forward to meeting you and your family, before I immigrate to Nova Scotia.

Warm Regards,

Dear Del and Russ,

I got the email about the final disposition. Hurray! Hallelujah! That was welcome and exciting news. God has blessed us greatly. Thanks for letting us know.

Sachi, Sam and I are chomping at the bit to get things packed and ready to go. My daughter Katie is coming to help me on the weekends when I am not working. We are all so excited to get to Canada and the sooner the better. Sam is a new man. He is so enthusiastic and so much happier.

I know I have told you before how much we appreciate what you both have done for our family and how patient you have been with us..... but it bears repeating. You have made this process so much easier and so much less stressful. Not only because you are experienced and knowledgeable about the job you do for immigrating people and families but also because you are so positive minded and uplifting in all you say.

You both have been a light at the end of a long dark tunnel in many ways. You have told us in a timely and informative manner all that we needed to know and what to expect every step along the way. And not just for the documentation processes but the interview and everything else. You were genuine in your joy and happiness for us and it showed in many ways. You were always available to us whenever we needed you or had questions.

As far as the fees for your service, we both felt it was not only fair but well worth the money. We got our monies worth and more, we made new friends and are successfully immigrating to Canada and starting a new life together with infinite possibilities.

We are profoundly grateful and so very happy with all you have done on our behalf. Thanks so much for the thorough way you handled our case and the persistence you demonstrated on our behalf. I will refer all and every one I know who are interested in coming to Canada to you and your agency without hesitation. We have gone through so many problems with US immigration that you made Canadian Immigration a joy. We are totally thrilled with the results you brought to us.

Thanks again for all you have done. We look forward to seeing you and meeting you in person very soon.

Our gratitude and sincere thanks,

Xmas in Vancouver 2005!

Dear Russ,

I was born and raised in England, worked out of the UK for the last 12 years on an expatriate basis and  having spent many a frustrating hour trying to track down an Immigration lawyer to find out the status of my work visa, I can say with confidence, AI has truly been a breath of fresh air.

Thank you to Russ and Del for keeping me informed every step of the way, dealing with the paper trail and ensuring that the prospect of coming to Canada remains a pleasurable experience.

I would highly recommend AI for all immigration matters.

Nova Scotia Nominee Program Testimonial

Amazing! It honestly only took six weeks from the time I submitted our application to the time we received our NSNP approval! Russell and Del made it so easy. From the first time my wife and I spoke to Russell over the phone, we knew that they would be the team to make our families dreams come true.

Russell and Del are straight-forward, extremely knowledgeable about the emigration process and honest. They helped us every step of the way, systematically going through everything in great detail. They were thorough, leaving nothing to chance.

Russell’s professionalism and his giving 300% to our case, convinced us that not only would we soon be living and working in Canada, but that we had also found a wonderful friend.  My family and I are now in the process of preparing to move to Nova Scotia; a beautiful and vibrant part of Canada. We also had the good fortune of meeting Russ in Vancouver and Halifax.

If it is your desire to join the many others from around the world who have successfully emigrated to Canada; then look no further, Avatar Immigration and its fantastic team and will do everything possible to make that desire a reality.

I was introduced to Avatar Immigration by family friends who had used Russell’s services and were already settled in Canada. Russell had processed their papers some years ago and they had the best recommendations for AI. When I initially consulted with Russell, the points needed to qualify were 75 and I was only at 67!  It was especially difficult for a single person like me to immigrate to Canada.

Russell was very honest and told me that I had only a 30% chance of success as the marks would come down eventually and that I could wait or if I was willing to take the risk he would give it his best shot as I had a relative here in Canada and several other plus points in my application. As a single girl, with time on my hands, I decided to wait awhile and work at increasing my score. Later, when the Canadian government reduced the qualifying points to 67, I signed on as client. I was impressed with Russell’s honesty and dedication to making sure his clients’ cases get the best care possible.

Russell and Del helped me every step of the way. They answered all my questions very patiently and always returned phone calls and replied to emails. Russell is a great motivator and a living example of the power of “positive thinking.” He always encouraged me to think positively and be patient. Within 3 weeks of filing my papers, I received my case number and my interview waiver within 9 months. I cannot explain my joy at receiving my interview waiver and knowing that soon I will have my Canadian Permanent Residency landing papers

About 9 months into the application process; I asked Russell how much longer it would take to hear back about my case. I also wrote to him two months ago in Nov 2004 via email asking the same question, Russell, the “forever –motivator” told me that it would most likely be another 4-6 months and to stay positive. He also asked me to think positively and to go home and follow an exercise of positive-thinking – would I write him an email imagining myself having just landed in Canada as a permanent resident! I thought to myself, “yeah, that’s probably the best way to jinx my case!" (Sorry, Russell!)

Shortly thereafter, I received my interview waiver and request for medicals!!! Can you imagine my surprise and joy? Russell and I were both shocked at this crazy coincidence.

What I would like to say is this…….. “The Universe gives you what you expect and not what you want”. Your mental attitude is extremely important.

This was the best piece of good news I had received in my life. Thank you visa officer you can't fathom how grateful I am!

I assure you with Russell and Del, you will receive the most professional, honest and dedicated care. Not once, have they treated me as a file number. They have both always listened to my anxiety and given me advice and encouragement. I have recommended AI to my family and friends and I have no hesitation doing the same for you. They will not rest until they get you here.

Thank you Russell and Del from the bottom of my heart.

Very Sincerely,

With God's love and his mercy, we received our AOR within
3 months and 22 days from the time you submitted our
application. Thank you Russell and Del...you guys are
awesome.

I was contacted by Russell in May 2004, however because we (my wife and I) were busy, we only got round to sending AI all of our documents by September 2004.  I realized that I wasted too much time, and I didn't expected to get an AOR for a long time. I thought, that because we had delayed the process for so long AI might cancel our case  and give up on us.

But I thought wrong! Russell is truly a friendly, patient, and understanding man and also a professional with respect to his work. Russell never got tired of encouraging me to be patient (for the best), keep up on my prayers and always be positive in my thoughts.  Not once did Russell treat us as just a file number.

Russell is always full of understanding with our anxiety. And he does not underestimate us.  We both feel that we are so special because of this to have found AI.  Russell & Del always patiently answer all of our questions with many details.  If you have dreamt of moving to Canada, AI is the right company to help you to make your dream come true.  I was blessed the day my close friend & his sister told me about Russell (she and her husband now are settled in Canada).

Russell & Del made the whole process feel so much easier.  They helped us every step of the way.  We are now 100% sure that our case is in good hands.  We will be able to migrate to Canada soon.  Never question Russell, just do whatever he asks of you and you will be pleasantly surprised with good news.  He and Del seem to be around anytime, 24/7.  He works so hard for your success. With God's blessing, we hope to meet Russell & Del in person, soon, in Canada.

Canada.............here we come!!!

Thank you so very much from the bottom of our hearts for everything Russell & Del, and may God bless all the staff at AI.

Dear Ryan,

I remember you telling me that if I have faith things will happen eventually. I never lost that faith and it continues burning. Ryan, you have no idea how much I am grateful to you and to everyone who helped with this case at AI.

I was blessed by God the day that I found your web address. A friend of mine told me once that God has always a purpose for us and perhaps it was in God's purpose for me to meet you wonderful people! I hope the best for you and look forward to meeting you!

Hi Russ,

Very glad to hear that we have been granted a waiver of interview. This means you have shaved off 8 months of waiting time in the queue. This also means I don't have to fly to New York where my case was filed earlier. Wow!

My wife and I are very excited at the good news. I have sent you our last payment as per our agreement. Thank you very much Russ. Thank you for the call late last night even though it was way past your office hours.

To any Indonesians wishing to use Russ's service just get in touch with him and I would be happy to give you a personal referral if need be. But in short, don't waste any further time. I waited too long but finally I thought that my future life in Canada would be too risky to turn into a 'Do it yourself project".

Kind Regards,

Dear Russell & Del,

Thanks very much for the good news!  It seems We have been waiting for a long time (since February 2004), but considering other people’s cases, it was pretty fast to get the waiver of interview. Indeed it was very surprising, as we did not anticipate it would happen so soon.

My wife and me were in no doubt that our case is in good hands. Now our case is in good shape and  will be taken good care of. Del and Russell, we admirer your patience, judgment, capacity and capability, everything……… We do appreciate your effort and professional approach. We have another wish, which is to see you guys (Del & Russell) in person ASAP………

Thanks again from the bottom of our heart and God bless you all at ACIC…

Wish you all the best,

After moving to the US from Kerala, I still wanted more for my family, and so today I am extremely happy and proud to say I am a PERMANENT RESIDENT of Canada. God has opened the door to a New World of opportunities.

"Now Faith is the substance of the things that we hope for and the evidence of things not seen" Hebrews 11:1.

Whenever I speak to Russell about my worries he immediately asks me to remove the thought from my mind because he has taught me that "We attract situations into our life based on how we think and what we think of".

Russell's last minute advice on landing proved invaluable and on August 13th we landed in Vancouver as permanent residents. We had hired AI for its landing services and as a special favour, Russell offered to meet us in person at the airport.  It was so nice to see someone I had known  for so long (Russell) when I first touched down in Canada.

As recommended, we stayed at the Holiday Inn in North Vancouver which was very convenient because it was only 5 minutes away from Russell's office and 15 minutes away from his home.  We stayed in Vancouver for only 3 days but during this time Russell took us to several parks, beaches, nice restaurants, and most importantly gave us an excellent overview of the real estate market while visiting some Open Houses in the area.

He has done a marvelous job in both preparing us for landing and introducing us to the Canadian culture. We’ve already purchased some of the excellent books that he suggested and are well on our way to establishing a successful future in Canada.

Thank you for the world class service you provided to us.

Dear Friends,

I feel very happy to write my testimonial so that you will know and learn how my experience has been with AI. After living in the United States for more than 16 years, I realized that the American dream to secure my legal status was not a possibility for me. I exhausted my limits and resources by hiring a couple lawyers and consulting with many other legal experts in the immigration arena in the United States. However, the outcome was always the same: “ unable to secure my legal status”.

I was beginning to feel that even though I have a secure employment, attend school on a part-time basis and serve my community as a volunteer in many community events; I was lacking one important aspect in my life, my sense of freedom. Not having a secure legal status has been a barrier in my search for self- actualization. Nevertheless, I was determined to be a member of a society that will accept my skills and so my search began!

I navigated the Internet and I found AI after almost giving up on my quest. I remember clearly the words of Mr. Monsurate, when he called me directly at my residence, he said: “ I am confident I can get you through… have faith and begin now” that day, I placed things into perspective and I was thinking very careful about Mr. Monsurate’s words. I found that there was something legitimate, sincere, honest and empathic in his message.

The next day, I faxed my retainer and first installment. This same day, I received my questionnaires and the whole process began. In addition, I must say to you that after I signed the agreement, it felt like my case was very secure and handled by professionals.

I began to work with Ryan W. who has been someone that I will be forever in debt. He answered my questions in prompt manner, took time to meticulously revise my questionnaires, and he has been always available to answer my concerns and questions about this process.

Just last month I filed my application and I am waiting for my confirmation letter. In the mean time, I am continuing with my education and serving my community. It is my goal to be able to land in Canada by next year and become a successful member of a new society. I feel so happy to think about this new journey in my life. I know that there will be difficult times ahead of me but the positive outcomes will always overcome any difficult times.

If you are someone who has questions or concerns and wants to obtain more information, please feel free to send me an email. If you include your phone number and best time for me to contact you, I will be very happy to call you. Thank you AI, Ryan and Russell.

Sincerely yours,

R.P.

Dear Del,

Thank you for the news that my application for a Canadian Permanent Resident has been granted a case number.  This is very significant and the turn round time has been very prompt - less than 4 weeks after we filed the application - which as you recall was timed to arrive the day before my birthday - as this would ensure I could qualify for an additional 2 points.

As you know, as part of my current employment I have lived in numerous countries around the world and have been through many immigration process in my life time - including "difficult" countries like the
US, Australia, the UK - and even Canada twice before.

This normally involved my employer engaging "big name" law firms - in London or New York - to process my application. This application to Canada is my own - and your team - and your General Manager, Del in particular - has far exceeded my experience with any of those organizations.

In particular it was a real challenge to gather all the information to in time for a submission before my birthday as I only engaged you two weeks prior - and the fact that CIC has responded so promptly is a testament to how thorough the application is!

So CONGRATULATIONS on providing a great service!

I am writing this letter to express my extreme gratitude for the way that I have been treated by two extremely wonderful human beings, Del and Russ, and for the excessive care that they took to prepare my application for Canadian immigration [skilled class].

I had found Russ while browsing through the net, called him and after talking to him for 5 minutes had made up my mind. Russ is an extremely sincere, genuine and loving gentleman, he made me feel like a brother and explained to me every little thing in detail. Del took over once we started the actual process of collecting
documents and showed a lot more sincerity than one would expect from people who you have never met.

I have no problems recommending them for your Canadian immigration needs. I, for one, have had an extremely satisfying experience and I am sure you'd too.

Dear Russ,

Two years ago I went to the CIC website, downloaded the application forms, read all the instructions, dotted my I’s and crossed my T’s, and made sure that I had enough marks to pass.

I then looked over my application thoroughly to make sure that everything was in order as requested by CIC.

After submitting my application with the Government Processing Fees. I waited. And waited. And waited some more. It seemed like an eternity.  At the end of almost two years I had lost all hope of ever making it to Canada.  Then, when I least expected it I heard a knock on the door and the postman handed me this yellow brownish colored envelope.

I was overjoyed. I ripped open the envelope and was completely shocked to learn that I had failed!!

It was just a few small errors on my part.

Three years and wiser…I was lucky enough to come across your website and you. Thanks for handling my case.

Sincerely,

Dear Russ and Delphine,

I really want to express my appreciation with the assistance you have both shown with helping me obtain landed immigrate status in Canada.

Initially, I thought it would be strictly a business association that would help me through the requirements to navigate the bureaucracy of governmental forms and rules.

I am sure you can understand my surprise when I learned that the association established friends that treated me more like family than a client.

I have received nothing less than professional assistance and pleasant friendship in all my dealings. There were times when I needed encouragement to obtain more information to assist you, which was always sought in an almost apologetic manner.

When I consider all the effort you have extended in making my application a painless and enjoyable experience, I can only say, Thank you very much.

It is with greatest satisfaction that my wife and myself join in thanking Russ for getting our medicals and waiver so fast. The most distinguishing factor throughout the process was the dedication, patience, sincerity and highly professional approach to all matters.

Immigration is a long and often frustrating process. There is so much information to collate and present with application forms that it is extremely difficult for an individual to cover all aspects and get the finished application entirely correct.

Russ and his team are experts in presenting the application in an acceptable form where accuracy and detail are vital.

When there were questions on our end, they were always fully answered by Russ within 24 hours. This prompt service contributed towards reducing the amount of time the entire process took till we got our medical and interview waiver. Their painstaking attention to detail in the preparation of our application for permanent residence package was instrumental in expediting the process.

We were treated with the utmost respect and didn't feel like we were just another case.

There is absolutely no doubt in our minds that the wisest decision we could have made was to engage Russ and his team at the start to handle our application for us. We have found their service totally professional, extremely thorough, and always with a personal touch that can mean so much when we are thousands of miles away from our intended home.

We have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending and suggesting Russ's name to our friends who are eager to come to Canada.

James & Wife, Texas, USA

Yes, we received our Waiver of Interview and are going for our medicals today! Wow!  We are very pleased with the results. Thank you for being there for us, on time and for delivering the goods.

Your services were beyond efficient in every respect, truly economical, (payable in three installments) friendly and very professional! You always went the extra mile, and always made us feel so special.

Thanks to your attention to detail the Visa Officer granted us a 'Waiver of Interview' as you had ensured all documents and data was submitted at the very start with the highest attention paid to detail and accuracy.

This wavier of an interview I am told has cut our waiting time down by 6 to 8 months and has saved us the expense of having to fly to some other city in the US and pay hotel bills, plus the ancillary costs of transportation etc etc. Also, not having to sweat it out in front of an Visa Officer and fight for our lives, was the biggest bonus!

My wife, daughter and I currently live and work in the US and I am in the IT Industry. I love Canada because it was always my boyhood dream to live in the No. 1 country in the world.

I am very lucky I found Avatar Immigration and Russell Monsurate. While India is "GOOD", the United States is definitely "BETTER" and Canada is surely the "BEST".  I wanted to write this letter as an expression of gratitude, and as our way of letting people know that you are the best immigration consultant ever.

Russell is not only knowledgeable in his field but also cordial and attentive to every detail. He answered all our questions and emails  promptly and in a professional manner that left us always satisfied.

What more impressed us about Russell was his capacity to find the best way to deal with the various problems, situations, twists and turns that the immigration issues took due to the changing of the marks, legislation and the stringent criteria during the last several months.

We felt that he was always there for us, sending us an email to remind us of submitting certain documents on time. With Russ on your side you have a powerful ally and wise friend. You can trust him totally with your worries and problems.

We definitely recommend Russell to anyone interested in immigrating to Canada.

What's important is not the cost of obtaining his advice and guidance but what it might cost you if you don't!

I am a highly qualified Software Engineer (NRI) based in the US. Both my brother-in-law and myself had scoured the internet looking for a  'Professional and Economical' Immigration Consultant to work with.

We received our Permanent Residence Visas and also used his services for landing in Vancouver. Even though I applied when I was single, Russ was able to keep my file moving and submitted my wife's paper work so that we can both now look at settling down in Canada Permanently.

We were very lucky to find Russell Monsurate from Avatar Immigration. He is based in Vancouver BC, Canada. He is hardworking, prompt and very caring. He has taken a lot of worry off my mind and allowed me to work at my job uninterrupted.

He has gone the extra mile in taking care of my Permanent Resident Status Application, and even returned calls way beyond the normal hours of duty. Also very very promptly.

If you are thinking of Canada don't hesitate to call him. He delivers!

Dear Russ,

I am so delighted that I cant find words to thank you. And I thank your client who introduced me to you and said "This guy is the guy you can trust with your plans to migrate to Canada. Go for it Chris. Don’t waste anymore time".

Russ you guided me all the way thru this process, it was a rough and scary ride, initially counseling me not to give up but to study French to increase my score, reminding me to keep the process alive in spite of the marks going from 60 plus 10 for the interview, to 80 and then to 75 and all this while you took my case from being a single applicant, thru the complexities of adding my newly married wife half way thru the process and guess what today, giving me the "Waiver of an Interview letter" and my "Medicals"!

You have saved me tons of money flying all the way across the US, the anxiety of facing an interview, the time of work and at least 6 to 8 months thru processing the paper work further on!

You will be hearing from my relatives and friends both here in the US and back home in Tamil Nadu, Bangalore, India who will use your services unhesitatingly!

With you Russ they will get more than just a Permanent Residence Visa for you are someone who could be trusted with the most important issue of their lives…"Migrating to Canada permanently without the fuss of dying".

Every day, thousands of ordinary people like me and others on this page decide to make Canada their home.

What about you?

You don't want to be left behind? While populations explode the number of people entering Canada remain static.

Only those with foresight and courage make it through. Write to Russ now. Book your place in the No. 1 country in the world before its too late.

God Bless you and your family always Russ! And God bless those wonderful souls at CIC Buffalo. I thank them for their compassion and humanity shown in my particular case.

To Whomsoever It May Concern,

I am a Muslim from Indonesia and so is my husband. We have settled in California, USA. We were really searching all over the internet for a good, trustworthy and solid professional Immigration Counsel, when my husband and I stumbled on Russ and AI on the internet one evening.

It is so hard to trust people to day. One can spend days and nights on the internet and yet be totally confused and paralyzed with the sheer amount of information. We are lucky to have chosen Avatar Immigration as from the very first time we read his testimonial page and made contact with Russ via an email, we knew Russ was the man who could help us.

Alhamdulillah!

AOR and file number in 1 week! I've been trying to write something, but I don't know what to say! I was so shocked and grateful, so when I told my husband, he couldn't say anything either. All we can manage for now is God is great, you and Del are such professionals. We know our friendship with grow and some day we will have the great fortune of meeting with you in person".

Hi Russ & Del,

Yes, I received it!!!. I have my our Visas stamped and I cant stop looking at them!. What a great day!   Wow!

A year and ten months ago I began my search for a genuine, hardworking and professional consultant over the internet. The moment I read the testimonials and filled up your assessment form,  I knew that my application was in safe hands.

You went the extra mile for me! Thank You.

I am proud to say that my interview was waived, you were very meticulous in the preparation of my case and  were extremely prompt in dealing with each and every request from CIC on my file. I would not have been able to do the same myself considering that most of the letters from CIC come with a 30 day deadline.

You checked and re-checked our forms, gave us advice on the funds we needed to show, helped us complete our FBI and Police Clearance Formalities, answered numerous email queries at all parts of the day and night, guided us the correct choice of a NOC Title and Number, updated us on the latest criteria with regard to the new rules and lastly you wrote a brilliant submission letter to CIC on our behalf.

My wife and I are very excited and plan to leave for Canada as soon as we get our Visas stamped. Needless to say, we will be retaining you for our landing services.

What can I say? I am at a total loss for words. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We can think of no better way to repay you for your kindness and professionalism then by sending you our picture taken out in Bloomington,  Illinois, USA just a short while ago. We would be very happy to recommend you to any of our relatives and friends and to any readers who are browsing thru this web site right now.

Please contact me if you have filled the assessment form, have been approved by Russ and are serious about using Avatar Immigration's services.

You will have your dream come true! See you in Canada Soon!

Dear Russ and Del,

“Wavier of interview” Oh my God!

May God bless you for giving such good news personally. It was your and Del’s persistent efforts that made it possible.

My case was a complicated one because I am living in USA and could not arrange all the necessary documents for Canadian immigration. So I was not very confident about filing it by myself.

Also I was not sure about success in immigration to Canada because I have heard that many failed. You always called and emailed me personally and encouraged me by saying “You have to believe Saiful”.  Now I see that you are right.

There are only some competent professionals such as you who can make impossible things happen.

Immigration to Canada is a long and tedious process.

It makes people frustrated but because of your constant contacts and follow-ups it was not a mind-numbing experience at all for us. You handled us with the greatest care and we didn't feel like we were just another case.

Russ and Del, you made it possible for us to live in our dreamland. You will always remain very special persons for us and will be in our hearts forever.

We will always advise people to seek your help. We will always pray for your good health and success in work. May God shower His Blessings upon you always!

Hi Russ,

Thank you for the good news!

I am very pleased to see 'my waiver of interview' letter.

Thank you for your guidance and for your expert handling of my case.

I knew my case was in very competent hands even though we never met face to face and did all of the paper work over the internet.

Many thanks for all the hard work and the valuable advise.

I also thank you for your patience and timely response to my many inquiries.

I've dealt with many legal advisors in my life, and your team has by far set a new standard for me!

I don't believe the process could have been any smoother.   Again, thank you! Rob Volkel Email:
