Canadian Immigration Success Stories from clients based in the United Kingdom and Ireland!

My sociology teacher used to call it deferred gratification. That’s when you want something so badly, unlike other people who are rushing ahead, you are willing to wait and be patient to get to your prize!

I’ve wanted to immigrate to Canada for a long time and thankfully, unlike some, I had an advantage to help get me there. That advantage was Avatar. They have been there every step of the way with words of encouragement and their professionalism is next to none. Delphine mentioned in an email once that they are happy to be dream catchers. She is absolutely right that’s what everyone who works at Avatar is. If your dream is to immigrate they will work tirelessly on your behalf to make that happen. My dream is now a reality. I had notification of my medicals in record time and plan to be in Canada by the end of 2008.Words just don’t seem enough to say how happy and grateful I am to Avatar who have enabled me to reach my prize. But I have to say Delphine, Desiree, Russell and Ryan. THANK YOU.

If anyone is reading this and they have wanted to move to another country and start a new life. Choose Avatar it will be one of the best decisions that you have ever made.

It was a day in July 2006 when we decided to make enquiries with Avatar Immigration and it has proved to be a day that we never regretted.

Like most people, we surfed the net and contacted a few agents but were astonished with either the unfriendly approach received from our enquiries or just the fact that you knew that it was another money-spinner agent who would grab your money and run. That though was not the feeling we received when we contacted AI.

We approached AI for a number of reasons: (i) leading staff are well qualified and experienced as well as Members of the necessary immigration councils; (ii) Russell Monsurate's resume; (iii) leading staff are the Monsurate family; (iv) high success rate of completed applications; and (v) they offer a reasonable and fair fee structure.

From day one their approach was refreshingly honest and open to us; they provided us with all the answers to our questions and allowed us our own time to make the most important decision of our lives. We immediately knew we had found the right agency and so we decided to take the next step with them by completing their initial long questionnaire. Within a couple of days they had contacted us to advise that we should be eligible to immigrate to Canada.

At this time, we did waiver a little as it was now when we would have to part with our well-earned savings for AI to take our application the next level. We had further conversations with one of their consultants, Ryan Monsurate who advised that their success ratings were very high and that if they thought our application would not be worthwhile, then he would say so. One of the reasons that attracted us to AI was their high success rate and of course, the many testimonials to reinstate this fact. So, we agreed to appoint them as our immigration consultants and the process began. Within a month or so, we received our file number - just as AI had predicted :-)

Around 15 months into the process we filed an application under the Nova Scotia Nominee Program with AI.  Three months later, our phone rang and it was Ryan. It wasn't unusual to have a call from him as he often kept in contact with us but it was a big surprise to hear what he had to say!

He had rang to advise that our application to the Nova Scotia Nominee Program had been successful and that with this certificate our immigration application should now take flight and join those nearing to the end of what can only be described as an immigration turmoil if you don't know what you are doing! We hope to receive our permanent residence visas by the end of this year!!

Wow.... you could have knocked us both over
with a feather! It was the best news ever!!!
We were ecstatic - we still are!!

We owe so much to AI in getting us through the immigration process with success in such a short space of time too. To this day, we NEVER regretted once appointing AI as our agents. Apart from their professional approach and exceptional experience in this field, they never faulted once on their promise to "hold our hands". Ryan knew our case inside out and never gave us an indication that he couldn't remember who we were - this on its own, is a rare commodity in today's business world.

One additional thing that make AI unique is that they treat you as a person, not a file, and we believe this is because they truly understand their clients' hopes and dreams and plan to achieve the goals of their clients to the best of their ability. Avatar Immigration are genuinely honest and reliable and we are so proud to have known them too. Thank you Avatar, you're the best!!

Dear Del & Russell,

We'd thought about emigrating to Canada for a number of years before finally taking the plunge in February 2006. The next step was to decide do we 'go it alone' or do we 'go with an immigration consultant?' After lots of research , Avatar Immigration were recommended to us by a previous Client, so we decided to get in touch. This was the best decision we could have made!

It's hard to express our gratitude in words, save to say, we cannot thank you enough for helping to make our dreams come true. Thank you for all the hard work, professionalism, understanding and especially support. You expertly guided us through the immigration process, always on hand to promptly answer our questions and offer advice, working tirelessly in the background. Now, here we are only 2 years on with our passport requests from London.

It's been a rollercoaster ride with us sharing many ups and downs. When we needed it, you always gave us reassurance and hope particularly through our most difficult time when in March 2007 Simon was diagnosed with CML. We thought our dreams were shattered but you helped us tremendously both professionally and personally....we feel stronger for this experience. The service you provide at Avatar is second to none and we would not hesitate in recommending you to help others realise their dreams!!

Kind Regards,

Back in April 2005 we made the decision to try and make our dreams come true. But first we had to find a company that could help us.

We came across Avatar’s website and immediately felt comfortable. They were very professional and above all else honest and they did not want their entire fee upfront, so our journey began.

By June 2005 we had our file no and now we just had to wait. As many of you will appreciate you have so many questions to ask and when ever we contacted Avatar they were there to help. Even on occasions when we mailed at the weekend the replies were instant.

On our third research trip we arranged to meet with Ryan (on a Sunday – his day off) it was nice to put a face to the name.

Although there are no guarantees we honestly felt that with Avatar working on our behalf we had given ourselves the best possible chance of living in Canada and in March this year (2008) we had our interview waived and were called for our medicals. This for us we felt was the last hurdle. We passed and expected to wait for another 3 to 4 months but to our surprise just under 4 weeks later we received the best news ever – we were in and they wanted our passports.

We cannot thank the team at Avatar enough, Russ, Ryan, Del and Desiree you done everything you said you would do and more and I would recommend you to anyone about to embark on their journey. You are worth every penny.

Dear Ryan and Russell,

I write this letter as a “thank you” for all the help and assistance that you have provided to Helen and I during the past 2 years. Your experience and expertise has been instrumental in ensuring that we progressed through BC’s Provincial Nominee Program as smoothly as has happened – resulting in a successful immigration application.

I know, from my experience of attempting to manage the preliminary immigration phase personally, that you have eased this process considerably and that without Avatar’s knowledge and support, this process would have been far more difficult and time-consuming, and may even have not succeeded.

I would be very pleased to provide references as to the quality of your services and the timely and effective personal attention that you have given to our application.

Many thanks again for all your efforts and assistance and I enclose some pictures of the General Store and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort.

Yours sincerely

****UPDATE****

So here we are finally in Canada. I wanted to thank you Delphine and all your colleagues, especially Ryan who answered our initial queries and Russell who along with yourself has been a massive help all through the last couple of years. To be honest there were times I never thought we would get to Canada but thanks to you we did!

When we decided to follow our dream of Emigration, the web seemed filled with companies promising it all. We looked around and sent off a few enquiries. One company and more importantly one set of people seemed to stand out.

We visited Avatar's site and were impressed by the down to earth and easy to understand way it was set out and written.

After making an attempt at the points matrix we were contacted within 24 hrs personally by Russell Monsurate.

This was a trend that we came to rely on and trust through the last 18 months. The emigration process can seem daunting and never-ending, but Russell's team were always there whenever we needed information or reassurance.

Ours was not the normal route to emigrate.  As the processing times increased so did our anxiety. I managed to secure a job offer and was granted a work permit enabling us to achieve part 1 of our goal to obtain permanent residence status in Canada.

Throughout our whole process Russell Monsurate was always there with words of wisdom and guidance (plus a few jokes from time to time).

We were called for our medicals a couple of months ago and asked for further and updated forms. Once again Avatar handled all the logistics for us and this time Russell personally sent a FedEx with our stuff on a Friday afternoon just before he set off on a business trip. This ensured minimum wait or delay in getting our documentation to London.

Before you decide to trust you and your families hopes and dreams to anyone let us just say that it is the best decision we have made and would urge that you think hard before committing to anyone else.
We are hoping now that things will work out but are safe in the knowledge that nothing has been left to chance by Russ and want to take this chance to thank him for all the support and professional service given to us so far.

UPDATED PICTURE AND TESTIMONIAL

Please note that this is quite a special case and is in no way a representation of typical processing times:

Synopsis:

1) We filed the case.  CIC Paris refuses to acknowledge receipt of the file.

2) We file an official complaint with the relevant authorities.

3) We then worked to trace the mail in order to prove that Avatar Incorporated did send the file to CIC Paris and that the file was received by CIC Paris.

4) Thanks to the integrity and honesty of the officers, they acknowledged receipt of the file, located the file and as a special gesture issued the client's permanent residency visa in ONLY THREE MONTHS!

The moral of the story is that it pays to hire a competent professional to handle your paperwork.  Just ask yourself what you would have done given this scenario.

Investor Update

Dear Russell and Delphine Monsurate,

Just arrived back in England from our trip to Toronto and Montreal.  All of us can't wait to get back to Canada!

The kids were crying when we said goodbye to Canada and wanted to move there the same day. I told them that we all have to be patient, but thanks to the excellent work you're going for us I know we won't have to wait too long.

Please let Ryan and Del know that we are so happy that you they have been there 24/7 for us, giving us advice and reassurances. I'd also like to let them know how much we all enjoyed our visit to your country and that we are even more keen to live there soon and enjoy a Canadian lifestyle everyday!

Talk to you soon

Dear Russell,

We got home yesterday after spending a week in Ontario and the PR Visas were here waiting for us.  We're all feeling on top of the world at the moment.

We have purchased a 0.76 acre lot backing onto serene nature trails and a creek.

The house we are having built is called the Wateredge, however they are doing going to add a loft for us, with a further 2 bedrooms and a bathroom there, plus we are having the basement finished with 2 more bedroom, a gym, my office, another bathroom, plus a big playroom for the kids.

All in all it's about 5,500 sq ft in size. 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms plus the above additions.

We are going to be at the biggest freshwater beach in the world, and only 15km's from the number one ski resort in Ontario.  It would have been impossible to buy a new home in the UK with such a layout and great neighbourhood in such a great location for such an affordable and economical price.

The improvement in our lifestyle will be immense, rather than working all the hours under the sum to stay afloat in the UK. Now we can relax and enjoy what life has to offer and spend more time as a family.

We hugely appreciate all of your help with our application, and rest assured we will recommend you to anyone I hear of who is looking to move to Canada.

All the best and will be in touch soon,

Kind Regards,

BCPNP Testimonial

Dear Ryan Monsurate, Russell Monsurate and Team,

We would like to convey our sincere gratitude for the outstanding and highly professional support you have been providing to us and our business proposal for the BCPNP program over the last 12 months.

Our requests have always been dealt with in a timely manner and your advice, be it on personal, educational, business or finance matters have been to the highest possible standards.

On numerous occasions, without your expertise, we would have had unnecessary delays or committed outright errors in processing our goals setting up a new company and moving our family to British Columbia.

This enables our family and our business to move, as planned, in the autumn of 2007 to the Fraser Valley Area and set up a new business in the mobile education industry.

If you are evaluating a reliable, friendly and highly professional partner who can give you the best preparation in your goal moving to Canada - don't look any further - you have found it in Avatar Immigration.

We will certainly recommend AI services to all our friends, colleagues and business associates.

Sincerely yours

** Testimonial Update **

To: Russell Monsurate & Delphine Monsurate

Once again thanks for the great support and advice you have given us during our two year wait, we are now at the point where we are only a few months from a decision which will hopefully allow us to realise our dream of emigrating to Canada to join over 50 of our friends and relatives who already reside there.

When we started off on this journey you explained to us how the points process worked and informed us that as we were borderline on this score, we needed to do several things to ensure success; luckily for us you had been predictive enough to see that at that time in early 2004 the waiting times were only half what they would be in 2006. Therefore the advantage for us was that due to the processing times increasing it gave us enough time to strengthen our case by ensuring that our points tally increased.

As such, following your advice I immediately signed up for a years course at Broxtowe College in French; we even took a holiday in Brittany to improve our language skills. Alison signed up for a B-Tech diploma in Tourism & Travel and then took an advanced course in the same. Along with attending countless trade related courses I persuaded my company to sponsor me to do a Foundation Degree in Business & Management with Leeds Metropolitan University and West Notts College of Further Education. Even my eldest son, James (14) has caught the `self improvement through education` bug, he won a coveted place (one of only two pupils in the entire school) on the course, Young Apprenticeship in Sports Management, Leadership and Coaching at South Nottingham College. We are very proud as he is a talented musician and sportsman; he plays for Nottingham Rugby Football Club (U15).

It seems that our life has been put on hold for the last two years; we are all so looking forward to coming over to Canada. I am looking forward to starting work in the Transport Industry; one of Alison’s relatives has hopefully got me a job with a bus company in Vancouver. Alison has done some research and feels confident of obtaining work with either Servisaire at Vancouver Airport or in one of the many travel agencies.

We are a family that loves the outdoors, last weekend we went camping in Ashbourne, Derbyshire……..we can’t wait to explore BC! James and I have set ourselves a target to take part in the annual Yukon River Quest 2008.

These are our dreams, you are our dream makers.

Dear Russell Monsurate and Delphine Monsurate,

I wanted to write to you a few words of appreciation in getting us through to the medicals. We have a waiver of interview and this alone has saved us 9 months or more!

The process was almost near painless as Avatar did all the forms and submissions once I had sent them the information. You and your staff were fun to interact with especially Delphine who was tireless, patient and compassionate.

Looking back, it seemed like an impossible mountain to climb, which became a hassle free and a well-organized process.

Avatar’s proficiency and reliability is second to none, and looking back at the entire process, I don’t think we could have done anything better or different.

Your team clarified my constant questions raised during the whole process very promptly.

I would recommend Avatar Immigration Services to any prospective client applying for Canadian Citizenship.

I am glad that I ran onto your website and I now look forward to moving with my family in the near future.

We are so excited at the thought of exploring a whole new life, meeting kind and friendly people and yes, most of all living in those 'wide open spaces'!

Thank you once again and best wishes.

We are happy to give a testimonial to Avatar having dealt with them for just under three years.

We started on this exciting journey back in July 2004, when we attended emigration seminars to start the ball rolling. These were followed up with more specialist personal meetings, where we filled in forms for assessing our eligibility and points needed for Canada. We did not, however feel confident with these large and very expensive agencies, so we investigated other options available.

I was surfing the net for suitable agencies when I came across Avatar. I looked up the meaning and was pleasantly surprised. Having browsed their informative website, I felt confident, at ease and comfortable with what was being said. We especially liked the meaningful quotes and simple spiritual messages, which, made us feel we were dealing with people of integrity.

Avatar’s fees were a fraction of the fees we had been looking at previously and unlike other agencies the costs were spread over the process, which made it easier.

We have always been impressed with their prompt replies to our e-mails and their patience when responding to our endless queries and questions often getting replies within minutes and often on a Sunday. Avatar never seems to sleep.

We would like to especially thank Del for always being warm friendly and positive both on the phone (when things appeared desperate for us) and also by email.
A warm thank you to Russell, who took the time out of his busy schedule to meet us personally in Vancouver during our research trip in May 2005. We spent several hours one evening with him, enjoying both his company and his wealth of knowledge and wisdom in many varied fields.

These personal touches made all the difference to us. It proves that business can be people focused, and is all the better for it. We certainly appreciate this.

Just a couple of days ago we received our final disposition (request for passports and those all important permanent residence Visas) having sailed through the medicals, just six weeks ago. (Del had been instrumental in tracing and chasing our case prior to this.)

Finally, with Avatar’s help and expertise, we are at the final stage of the process. This August 07 we hope to be landing in Vancouver to start our new life. Now, we are getting VERY excited.

If you are reading this and thinking of using a certified consultant, we would not hesitate to recommend and support the Avatar team.

“The main aim of mankind is to make man kinder”, Avatar does!

Many Thanks,

We started our quest for emigration to Canada years ago, 2004 in fact. We read most of the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) site and started to download and print the immigration forms. You see, based on all the information we could gather and after days/weeks of research we concluded that we could only prove that we had 52 points.

This was 15 short of the 67 currently required by CIC for their Skilled Worker Immigration program. So we thought we would consult an immigration lawyer/consultant to assess if we had any realistic chance.

Having trawled the internet filling in numerous immigration assessments (and there are a lot out there), emigrating to Canada looked doubtful, they all said "thanks, but no thanks.". Things were starting to look kind of bleak. Persist I did, until I happened across www.russcanada.com, "another assessment to do" - I thought. Then I read some of the testimonials, hmmm, worth a go. So I filled it in and got a 52 point score back ~ as expected. It was then that this consultancy stood out from the other.

An email from them, not an automatically generated one, but a personal one.

After a little email discussion and a couple of telephone conversations it was determined by AI that Russ and Del would take on our cause. So, being a skeptic about committing to something so personal over the internet, I contacted a few of their previous customers (I found their names in the testimonial section).

After confirming the quality and attention to detail with previous clients, my wife and I decided to go forward and use AI. So I phoned Russell and the ball started to roll. We discussed every aspect of our careers / life history / exams / schooling possible until eventually the paperwork was all filled in and complete. So, from the original 52 points, and the thorough job AI did researching our backgrounds we found out that we actually deserved 72 points, therefore giving us more than required.

Our application arrived at the Canadian High Commission in London on the 9th August 2004. To my surprise, in September 2004 I received an email from Russ. Wow, we have a file number, so our application has passed "paper screening". Now we were back to the waiting game again, but at least we are over the first hurdle and in the running.

Rolling on to December 2006, we received the much awaited email stating that AI had received our medical requests. At last, over the next hurdle. But things for us have changed since 2004, there were 3 of us then and now in December 2006, we are expecting the fourth. Another test for the AI crew. We took all of our medicals in January 2007, with the exception of my wife's X-Ray. Our newborn arrived on February 26th 2007. Now back to the paperwork and AI provided everything we needed to add him to our current application. I am writing this in April 2007 and AI have just confirmed they have couriered the new medical request for the baby request to us. Exceptional service.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the team at AI, particularly Del who has personally looked after our case. Russ has been an inspiration, particularly in the periods where a "boost" was needed.

So we are almost complete, final medical to do then wait for passport requests, hopefully going to land in the summer. It goes to show, listen to those that offer advice, trust in those that deliver. I would like to state that we would highly recommend the services of AI, I am absolutely sure that our application would have been rejected if we did not use their professional services.

A BCPNP Testimonial

Like many people on the treadmill in the UK we had harboured a dream to improve our quality of life. We had the opportunity to make this a reality last summer and coincidentally whilst on vacation in Canada we stumbled into the perfect place and decided to change our dreams into reality.

Another coincidence had us meeting an English couple there who also recommended Avatar Immigration.  Avatar had handled their BCPNP application in almost record time.

Changing dreams into reality is no mean feat and the enormity of changing our whole lives was daunting and stressful. However, from the first meeting with Russell and Ryan we felt we were in the best possible hands to help us through the administrative and emotional turbulence.

They are not just immigration consultants! Ryan not only dealt efficiently with our application, steering us through the paperwork, processes and advising on how to best present ourselves and our business plan on paper and in the interview to ensure success, but he also gave us confidence in our abilities and ideas. Let me tell you that in the middle of the night when doubts creep in, that really helped.

We had some people advise us that an immigration consultant was not necessary to get through the process, however, we certainly do not regret appointing Avatar. In fact we believe that without their services and support we would not be in the position we are in today from which we are looking at just a few weeks before we move to Canada, only 6 months after making the application.

More than that, they have given us the support and advice that has helped us to stay focused on our goal and to stay sane in one of the most stressful times of our lives.

We would thoroughly recommend them to anyone considering this step. Believe me, it really helps to know that someone is not only ‘handling’ your case, but is working on it almost 24 hours a day. I can’t count the number of e-mails we have received from Ryan in the early hours of their morning in Vancouver, to ensure that we received an update as soon as we awoke, rather than having to wait almost a whole day because of time differences.

Thanks to Ryan Monsurate and Russell Monsurate and the rest of the team, we will be living out our dream in the mountains, investing hard work in our own future rather than a faceless corporation, and becoming part of a real community. We can’t wait and we can’t thank you enough for your help.

Sincerely,

Thanks to all your hard work we are now PERMANENT RESIDENTS OF CANADA!

Without you I doubt we would even have a file number yet.  At first we were not sure about hiring you guys to help because we thought we could do it ourselves.  After speaking to Russell and Del, however, we decided that as time was a major factor for us we should get your help to make sure nothing went wrong to delay the process (and thank God we did).

It has now taken less than 2 years for the process to come to completion.

We have met people who have applied for immigration by themselves and have waited 4-5 years.

it is so hard to speak to people from the embassy but Del managed to find out what was happening each time I asked.

Everyone at Avatar has been so helpful answering all my questions and helping me with all the forms and paperwork needed.  Ryan even talked me through programs I could download on my computer to make things easier for us.

We have been living in Canada for 4 months now and we love it!  Mike is working, and my oldest daughter who has started attending the local high school has made lots of new friends.  All of her friends back in England can't believe she has ski days with the school.

I would recommend moving to Canada with Avatar Immigration to anyone!

It the best thing we have ever done!  Thank you so much once again.  We could not have done it without you.

Best wishes,

A client's Travel log

Dear Russell

Our recent trip to Canada was everything we hoped and dreamed it would be.

The trip for us had 2 purposes, we wanted to do all the things that tourists do but we also wanted to get a feel for what it would be like to live (and work) in a community. We were lucky enough to be able to achieve both.

We began our trip on Vancouver Island, staying in Victoria.  We then moved on to Vancouver itself. This for me was the best city we have ever visited and if I wanted to live in a city this would be the one.

We visited the superb Aquarium in Stanley Park, and the Capilano Suspension Bridge.

I also had interviews with quite a few employers and the feedback was really positive.  I found that there was a lot of opportunity for someone like me in the construction trades (carpentry).

After two fantastic days in Vancouver we picked up our car for hire and traveled to Whistler.

We traveled up the mountain in the cable car and for Ali this was a major achievement as she is terrified of heights.

From Whistler we traveled to Kamloops, this was a spectacular drive to our overnight stop on the way to Jasper.

Kamloops was a very pleasant surprise, the terrain was very impressive and so was the weather an impressive 33 degrees. We reached Jasper late the next afternoon to a somewhat chillier climate. The following morning was -5 and snow, we had to buy thicker coats for the children and a heavier sweatshirt for both of us. Never in our wildest dreams did any of us imagine that we would be building a snowman and having snowball fights in September, but we had such fun.

From Jasper we traveled to Okotoks near Calgary. This for us was the research trip beginning. We stayed with a family from Ipswich who immigrated about 16 months ago. We had so many questions to ask them. We found out about the local schooling and amenities for the children. We met up with a local real estate agent to find more out about the buying and renting processes.

Being in the construction industry we had a very long hard look at the new homes being built. Obviously looking at new homes people ask questions and the one thing that struck myself and Ali was that Canadian people are so welcoming.

Everyone wished us luck and hoped that we would succeed in our move over to Canada. We also traveled up to Edmonton to have a look around and I had a meeting with a construction company whilst there to find out more about the building processes and the different methods used.

Again I found that there was a lot of scope for someone with my skills in the construction industry and the response I got was very positive from employers.

To summarize what we learnt from our trip - We wish we had done it a long time ago.

Canada has the whole package for us, seasons, lifestyle and a great sense of community and we can't wait to live there. However, it taught us that realistically we could not live in the middle of the rocky mountains.

If I had one negative it would be that we didn't manage to see any killer whales or bears on our trip (and we actually went on excursions to do so).  This trip was invaluable to us and I look forward to landing and working in Canada soon.  By the looks of it I should be able to find a job very quickly once I land!  Here's to a successful future career and life in Canada!

The decision to move to Canada was taken soon after returning from a two year period living in Alberta with the British Military.

Even as early as the return flight my wife Karen had decided that she would love to live there and within 6 months we started to actively seek how best we could achieve this.

One evening we were gathering immigration information when out of the blue an e-mail from Russ arrived informing us that he could assist us in achieving our dreams.

Avatar was the only company that actually made contact with us personally when we expressed an interest in moving to Canada.

We took a lot of free assessments and either got no reply, or rates that were much higher.  Avatar made us feel that our dream could come true.  At the end of the day Russ stood out by far as the better choice.

We phoned him and after the call decided that we were more than capable of making the move and he was the right person to help. We were given Del as our consultant and this saw the start of an exciting journey.

The wait for any decision was at times difficult due to a number of delays caused by successful court cases from previous applicants and immigration departmental changes. This could have proved to be problematic as I had a definite end of service date that could have seen me without any fixed abode and unemployed. Throughout this Del could not have been more helpful and her enthusiasm and confidence regularly put our minds at rest.

We are now finalizing the move to Canada. Our house just outside Calgary is forecast to be finished towards the end of May and to date I have received a couple of job offers. My children still have fond memories of their last time in Canada and cannot wait to get their skis and ice skates on once again.

I cannot thank Russ and Del enough for the part they played in helping us to fulfill our dream. The process has been fraught with possible dangers but they have made it a comparatively stress free experience and at times enjoyable. We haven’t made it easy for them having lived in a number of different countries since the age of 18 and regularly requiring guidance and updates as the process has continued.

We were so excited when he heard that our Permanent Residence visas would be issued without any interview being held.  I regularly recommend Russ and the company to anybody who will listen and may wish to make the same move as us.

They have been fantastic and we as a family owe them a huge debt of gratitude.

Investor Testimonial

It has long been a dream of ours to emigrate to Canada; the problem is where on earth do you start with something so life changing? Looking at the CIC website made it worse – loads of complicated forms and an overwhelming feeling that if we made a mistake it could be costly in terms of time, money and emotion. So we started looking for help.

There were loads of websites with agents who “guaranteed” they would get your permanent residency visas – all very tempting, but very much the hard sell and bombardment by e-mail. Ironically it was the testimonials that you are now reading, that brought us to the door of the Avatar team.

Russ just made us feel we could trust him, as it's a lot of money and a big risk!

From the first contact we knew we could trust Russ, Del, Desiree, Ryan and the team at AI to guide us through the maze of forms, points, NOC numbers, photos of a specific size, police clearances and so many other pieces of paper!

Del calmly dealt with our CVs and the endless list of addresses and education certificates that we threw at her, and in no time produced the most amazing forms; they just looked and felt professional. Then at each step of the way, a friendly e-mail told us what was needed next.

The file number appeared in less than 2 months, despite processing times becoming depressingly and almost impossibly long!

It is fair to say that it has been difficult to await each stage of the process. It has felt like our life has been on hold while we await news, not wanting to commit to anything long-term in case the visas came through.

A number of times we have been impatient enough to ask what’s going on, to see if there could be any way around the interminable waiting. Each time Russ, Del and the team have been so supportive and understanding. Where they have been able, they have asked the immigration authorities questions on our behalf; otherwise they have explained why there was a delay.

Often it is the not knowing which is hardest.

So now imagine our delight when a happy e-mail arrived last week from Russ saying our medicals had been issued and we were at the last stage. What has made this even more amazing is that the interview was waived, which has saved us so much time, money and stress.

So we are almost there. My wife is now blowing the bank account on new clothes and things for our new life, and I am happy to see her so happy.

I am sure that some of the things I have described, you have also been through. Perhaps you are feeling that the mountain that is the immigration process is too high to climb, and that it is alright for us as we on the other side of it now.

All I can say to you is that you often have to work hardest for the things that are worth the most – but why not have some help? In every way I can recommend Avatar; they will help you and support you, but most importantly they will not push you into something that perhaps is not right for you, or for which you may not be ready at this time.

You have nothing to lose by asking their considerable advice, and everything to gain. Good luck and from the bottom of our hearts, thank you Avatar. See you in Canada!

Dear Del/Russ,

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I have lived here in the UK for 32 years now.  My wife and I came to the conclusion that it would be best to migrate to another country as we wanted a change of scenario.

For years I said to myself I would migrate to Canada and now I can’t tell you how happy and excited I am at the prospect of landing in Canada as a Permanent Resident soon. My dream has come true!

Avatar Immigration took care of most of my queries, doubts and anxiety. They were prompt and always there for me when I needed them. I was so very excited to learn that my interview was waived. That meant saving many months waiting for an interview date and then the agony of going to one.

No words can express the feeling that you get when you see the words “Congratulations, your file number came in today” or “Guess what, we just received a waiver for interview for you”. Avatar Immigration has given me that feeling, and I’m glad I chose them. If you want to move to Canada then get in touch with them immediately. They are at www.russcanada.com and they will make you feel very much at home!

Thank you Del and Russ for doing a great job for me and the family!

Dear Russ,

"I found Russ's company one amongst many helping acquire Canadian immigration. However, I chose to ask Russ to help my wife & I after reading his testimonials. They were filled with pages of dreams for which he had helped realize. They were inspiring!! I now find myself contributing to this page or catalogue as it has now become.

Russ, Ryan & Del became our guardians through the process. It may seem daunting if you're looking at the process & hurdles ahead if you're contemplating the move over to Canada. My advice is to find someone you can rely upon & trust to hold your hand through the maze. Russ called just over a week ago giving us the news that we'd been waived interviews & that all we need do now was to attend for our medicals. At the beginning Russ made us a promise; A week ago he delivered. There are so many sharks out there, of that I'm certain, who would be more than willing to take your money & your dreams and make life difficult for your journey. Russ, Ryan & Del offer a Rolls Royce journey: my wife & I hopped in & took a comfortable ride to our Canada Permanent Residency. I can vouch for & fully endorse their services. My wife & I are both doctors in the UK. We found it difficult to commit too much time to dealing with the necessary paperwork. Russ & Co. took care of that for which we'll always be grateful.

If you're in two minds about taking on Russ as your representative just drop me an email & I'll be more than happy to tell you about how he helped us. In addition, you'll find Russ to be an exceptionally happy choppy.

Bottom line: if Russ takes you on, you'll more than likely get your PR!!

Hi There,

Well if your reading this I'm guessing that you are considering moving to Canada …great choice!

Hi My name is Tom Murray and I'm from Mauchline in Scotland. My wife (Rachel) and I decided to immigrate to Canada during the Summer of 2003.

Our friends had already immigrated to Canada.  Taking their advice we decided to hire the services of a professional. Now being Scottish I am naturally suspicious of:

1. Any business that asks for money up front.
2. and "guarantees" success... that’s just not how life works.

I must have been on dozens of websites and contacted at least ten firms asking for details. Out of the firms that did manage to reply next day none would help me with even the most basic questions without a fee. The whole experience of spending literally days on the internet, asking for advice, not receiving any and in some cases receiving advice I knew to be wrong made me so fed up I decided to process the application myself.

We even attended seminars in Glasgow held by companies that took £45.00 for telling us things that you can obtain from Avatar at the press of a button on their web page

Is this ringing any bells with anyone?

Now I am only going to give the reader two bits of advice.

1. DO NOT PROCESS THE APPLICATION YOURSELF.
I spent three months putting our application together. I honestly thought our application was bullet proof. We just scraped in on points, but still met the requirement. I was two days away from posting the application away when I happened upon the Avatar web page. What's this? a company that does not ask for the whole fee up front, and has a fee that is reasonable.

(I had a British Columbia based lawyer ask for $6,700 USD and a UK based consultant ask for £3500 GBP).

After calling Russ we decided to send our application to him "just to be safe and have it checked over". Russ managed to show us where we had missed some points and helped raise our score by 9%. More importantly he discovered some serious flaws in the application. These would have almost certainly have resulted in our application failing and the loss of our fees.

Through out the preparation of the application Russ, Ryan and Del always encouraged us to the point where we stopped thinking of them as businessmen and started thinking of them as friends. Emails were often followed up by phone calls despite the 8 hour time difference and the whole process was just so reassuring and pain free that I must have been mad to think of going it alone. 12 weeks later we had our file number, no problems.

To be honest my family and I were a little discouraged as the times at the CIC office just seemed to be going up and up. According to the website, on March 2006 they were processing 80% of cases in 43 months.

So you can imagine we were stunned and delighted when Russ called us to say we had to go for our medicals and more importantly had an Interview Waiver in only 20 months.

We were absolutely astounded it took this quick and I'm sure that it was entirely down to Russ and his team's enthusiasm, drive and professionalism.

Our case was processed in 50% less time than we thought, You can't ask for more than that!! Russ will also put you in touch with people (like me) who have gone through the experience, so you see we are real and do exist (lol)

I guess my second bit of advice is that before you consider signing up with another immigration company call or email Russ, Ryan or Del. Put them to the test. I don't think you will be disappointed. My wife and I dreamed of going to Canada for many a year, Avatar caught those dreams and turned them into reality, I like to think of them as our Dreamcatchers.

Kind Regards and Good Luck!!

Good news: We received your file number!

This was the email that caught my eye on the first day after the Xmas holidays. I kept staring at these words without actually reading the content of the email. I was in shock and I thought maybe I was hallucinating but no there it was in black and white.

I cannot thank Russell, Delphine and Desiree enough. Like many people I looked at various agencies when I decided that it was time to pursue my dream and emigrate to Canada. There was something special about Avatar which I didn't feel with the other agencies and I felt that Avatar really wanted everyone who came to them to 'genuinely' succeed and that it really matters to them that you do. I've never had to wait for any feedback or wander what they are doing they are right there letting you know exactly what's happening and answering your questions.

The way I see it is It's not a case of will or if my visa comes through but 'when' and you know why? Because I have Russell and his fantastic team on my side. I feel truly blessed.

Hi Russell,

It was great hearing from you last night, it was the best Christmas present ever!!!

The reason why I chose you guys initially was the prompt response you gave me to an e-mail enquiry. You were very professional and encouraged me to chase my dream. The service you have given me over the last 18 months has been second to none. You have encouraged and helped me every step of the way and now finally my dream is coming true.

I would recommend you most highly to anyone who is prepared to listen to me. Even when I felt that things would never come to fruition you boosted my morale by telling me not to worry that these things take time. How right you were! I can't thank you enough! I will be forever indebted to you.

We plan to settle somewhere in the Toronto region as that is where there is a vast number of hospitals where I should be able to get a job, hopefully! When we are settled in Canada I would love one day to make a trip over to Vancouver and thank you in person for all you have done for us. I can't thank you enough!

NSNP Testimonial

I wanted to write a few words of thanks to you Russell.

Jackie, my wife and I tried to get to Canada about 16 years ago but we just met with a brick wall - couldn't get any sensible answers out of the High Commission. We had basically given up until we heard about the entrepreneur scheme for which we hoped we'd now qualify for.

Same old thing - we couldn't get any straight answers from the High Commission. They just sent us an application form! How personal!

I surfed the net for a specialist and (I did try loads of contacts and they either seemed to only cater for the preferred jobs category or be pretty pathetic) I hit on your site Russell.

Amazingly, here was someone I could speak to that would actually give me answers! You gave me lots of relevant advice on the different routes I could take, and which one would best suit my needs.

We settled on one of the PNP schemes as we needed some guarantees of a time scale as it suited us as our youngest daughter is just about to start her A levels.

We didn't want to apply the bog standard route as that meant that we could have waited around just to get a "No thanks!" from the High Commission.

Thank you for the help and advice you have given us. It has made what is a very stressful experience a lot less so and we have an end to our dreams of emigrating to Canada now in sight.

Best regards,

I can't believe that it's less than seven weeks ago that I contacted you initially and my wife and I now have our AOR and file number!

Russell, each time we have spoken on the phone, going right back to that first call, your reassurance and guidance has been so very positive and confident. Your professional credentials are impeccable. The testimonials are absolutely riveting and are compelling to read.

Del, we've had a lot of contact over the last few weeks whilst preparing my application. The support I've had, is as I've said many times before faultless and highly professional.

I was so surprised when I started to get those email responses over the weekend... I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw your prompt email replies coming through.

This along with your suggestions, tremendously helped me to expedite my application information and without your guidance this preparation would have been a long and torturous route. You certainly live up to your name in terms of your calmness and patience!

Ryan, we've spoken briefly only 2-3 times and I'm able to recognize your voice which is always a good sign of getting to know someone.   Thank you for all the excellent work you have put into my file and for adding some humour into what can otherwise be dull process.

Desiree, we haven't had any contact before until your email last Friday. I picked this up on Saturday morning and was amazed that the good news we were waiting for had come through so quickly. Thank you for making the weekend so exciting!

I know I haven't mentioned all of AI's staff here, but I want to thank all of you as well for your help!

I have many ambitions when I get to Canada and one of the highest priority on the list will be to meet you all and write an even better testimonial for your web site!

We feel privileged and lucky to have found and chosen AI to represent us in our Canadian Visa application. The fact that Russ could make sense of our complex affairs and their unwavering belief in themselves and us gave us the reassuring hand we needed to complete the process.

We felt like we were their main focus and the level of personal attention made us feel that we were there primary priority but I know that they give the same level of service to everyone and this is one of the great attributes that has made AI a success story.

Del's relentless attention to detail and professionalism made the process feel like a walk in the park but when the final documents arrived we couldn't believe how much work had been completed.

We received a file number in an astonishing 1 month and 2 days after submission. We cannot recommend AI highly enough and would advise anyone considering a move to Canada to complete the online application or pick up the phone and speak to Russell. We are glad we did!

I can highly recommend AI!  The service has been professional, efficient and friendly. Emigrating to Canada was something I wanted to do for a long time, so after finally making the decision to do so, I did not want to take any chances with my application.

After initially considering other consultants I remembered an article featured in Canada News about a family that Russell had helped realize there dream of moving to Canada. Having contacted that family and reading through other glowing testimonials I chose Avatar and with Russell and the team. I knew immediately that I had made the right choice. Paper screening was passed and I received an AOR in just 27 days, which is just fantastic.

What can I say but a big thanks to everyone at Avatar Immigration

Like most people who are looking to emigrate to Canada, we spent quite some time trawling the internet in search of help and guidance and just never found anyone who we felt we could put our complete trust in.

In the end we spoke with a number of consultancies and solicitors, but where others took days to answer, Del got back to us ASAP, in spite of the eight hour time difference. She never promised us things that were aimed just to get you to sign on the dotted line but at all times was genuinely positive and encouraging.

We made the decision to go with AI and time and again it has proven to be the right decision. They have a second to none understanding of the immigration process and know exactly what information to put in the application. They concentrate on the detail but never loose sight of the big picture. They are what I call “people, people” if that makes any sense.  By that I mean that they are always aware that it is the future of the people they are representing that they are dealing with and to us... the poor folk sat in the dreary old UK waiting for a snippet of information to do with our dreams of our life to be in Canada.

The immigration process is hard.  It means putting your life “on hold” to a great extent, and whilst we realize that personally we could still have another year before getting a decision we are not unduly concerned as we know that with Avatar watching out for our interests we are in safe hands.

Having just read what I have written so far I understand that to someone reading this with no prior knowledge of the way that Avatar works it sounds a bit sycophantic and almost like an advertisement……it’s not meant to sound that way.  It’s just simply how we feel.

If you are reading this and considering a decision as to what to do or who to have represent you look no further. Having been in contact with other people in the same position as I am, and who are also putting their hopes and dreams in the hands of AI, they all feel the same.  AI really does care….. On my birthday I got a call from them just to wish me a happy birthday.  No big deal, right? That’s what I thought until I realized that with the time difference it was the middle of the night there in Vancouver, and Ryan had either set his alarm or just stayed awake to make the call.

Whilst I am sure that there are other consultancies out there that probably are capable and equally professional, where Avatar win hands down is with the customer care. They are there for you all the time no matter how silly the question may seem or how trivial.

For example, when we had to pay the government processing fees, our UK bank made a mistake with the draft.  Not only did Del point this out when they received it but to keep things moving quickly, made a draft from AI's funds to keep the process moving smoothly and quickly while we made a new draft to send them.

I’ll finish with a question. It’s quite a simple question but gets to the difference between Avatar and the rest.  If this is your dream, what price do you put on your peace of mind? Because that’s the extra that you get with Russ the knowledge that while you get on with your day to day stuff they are working on your behalf.

Del and all the staff we dealt with at Avatar Immigration provided an excellent service.  They were prompt, efficient and very helpful. Hi Del & Russ,

We would just like to say a really big THANK YOU for what you have achieved for us so far. It is absolutely amazing that after only two weeks of getting our application in we have already received a file number.

Your attention to detail and professionalism has been second to none. At the start the whole process seemed quite daunting and a minefield of obstacles.  There are many legal sharks out there after peoples application whether they would qualify or not.
But right from the outset you have given us good advice, straight forward directions and only taken us on if you thought we could be successful. The whole time you have both been available for advice when ever we needed it and totally honest with us.

All the hurdles seemed that much smaller and the bridges to cross that much shorter.

In fact you are more like old friends to us now.

For anyone considering applying for immigration we could not think of anybody to recommend more highly than yourselves.  For us it really is a dream but with you handling our case it seems like we could really see our dreams come true.

Once again its great news and Thank You Del and Russ for all your help.

We found Russ after doing the usual searches and looking at a range of firms who offered to help with immigration services. In truth we were surprised to receive a telephone call directly from Russell as soon as we emailed him that we were really interested in his services.  He was the only one who took the time to actually place a call to explain his services. We took some references from his web site, all of whom had nothing but positive feedback on their experiences. Many of the other firms just appeared impersonal whereas Russell really seemed keen to help us realize our ambition to make this significant move.

From the beginning, contact was frequent and everything was explained fully. As one can imagine, the paperwork involved in applying for a family of five can be quite daunting but Russell was clear with his help and instructions and tips for completion and the whole process was made much easier – he also maintained our enthusiasm for making the move. The contractual side for his services was clear, concise, reasonable and straightforward and relates to each stage of the process.

Clearly the proof of the pudding is in the eating and just like our first contact, Russ made the call to our home to advise that we had been successful with our application and even an interview had been waived. The waiver of interview saved us many months of waiting in queue to attend one, and saved us the hassle of preparing for an interview that could possibly end the process suddenly after so much work. Once again, the personal touch was demonstrated which made using Russ the right choice. We would recommend his services wholeheartedly!

There are many companies out there that offer immigration services and you can waste a whole lifetime searching for the right one. All of them are trying to peddle the belief that they are the best.  Some firms talk about the number of staff they have working for them, or the number of cases they process a year, or how large their office is.  Others try to sell you fear by telling you that if you go to someone else you could fail or be scammed.  When I first filled out a free assessment form on one of those websites representing a Canadian firm, I was immediately turned down, without even a simple explanation.

Even though I had a complicated case, Russ and his team held my hand through every step of the way and did not let me down. They were always there to give me the much needed encouragement and support I needed. At times I just wanted to give up because of all the difficulties I was dealing with in my personal life but they kept me focused and centered.  Unlike most companies, with AI I got far more than I asked for.  I found not only a great team of immigration professionals, but personal friends in Russ and Del.

They helped me prepare for an interview and because I was so thoroughly prepared the whole process was a cake walk. I have just received my medicals and I can’t believe this is all happening before my very eyes. My parents and co-workers are simply delighted. I have recommended a few clients to Avatar Immigration, and if you would like to write to me I speak English, Russian and French. Do not hesitate to call me if you want to immigrate to Canada.

Dear Russ,

Despite being a qualified lawyer, I found the rules confusing and the plethora of forms intimidating. I came across the AI website almost by accident, and filled in the questionnaire. Within a few hours, Russ had gotten in touch. His friendly, no-nonsense approach and encyclopedic knowledge of his subject reassured and encouraged us and we decided to give it a try. Our circumstances are complicated, to say the least. We are a second family, my employment history is far from conventional, and just to make matters more complex, I work in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, while the rest of the family live in the United Kingdom.

There followed several weeks of frenzied activity, as we tried to assemble our documents and prepare our submission. Del drove me mad with constant requests for supporting documents and clarification of this and that, as she tried to make sense of our unusual circumstances.  I lost count of the number of drafts of our application forms which went from Vancouver to Dubai, UAE to North Yorkshire and back to Vancouver again.  Finally, all was completed to Del’s satisfaction, and we settled back, with a sigh of relief, to wait the usual 12 to 15 weeks for CIC to issue our AOR (or not, as the case may be!!).

It was therefore with astonishment and delight that we received our AOR, indicating that we had passed the all-important paper-screening part of our application, not within 3-4 months, as we expected, but within 7 days!!!! A total vindication of Del’s insistence on everything being “just so” before submission.

Thank you, Russ and Del, for your expertise, your professionalism and your constant, unswerving support.  You have become more than trusted advisors and our point of contact with CIC, you have become our friends.  We look forward to meeting you in person when we come over to Vancouver later in the year.  Until then, God bless and keep you both.

Hi Russell,

Wow! We've got our AOR number in one month! This is so exciting!

Thank you so much for all your effort and cooperation in helping us fill out the forms and answering our multitude of questions. We are now looking forward to the next phases of this great adventure and hope and believe that our application will be approved in record time. We could not have gotten to where we are now so quickly without the help of AI. I was actually able to see that our application was "in process" on-line today! Now that we've got our AOR number we know that something is happening.

We are now one step towards a brand new life for our family. The great thing is we know that you'll be there for us every step of the way in this; telling us what to do next, giving us advice, continuing to help us...thank you, thank you, thank you.

We can't wait for the next step!

Xmas in Vancouver 2005!

Dear Russ,

I was born and raised in England, worked out of the UK for the last 12 years on an expatriate basis and  having spent many a frustrating hour trying to track down an Immigration lawyer to find out the status of my work visa, I can say with confidence, AI has truly been a breath of fresh air.

Thank you to Russ and Del for keeping me informed every step of the way, dealing with the paper trail and ensuring that the prospect of coming to Canada remains a pleasurable experience.

I would highly recommend AI for all immigration matters.

Amazing! It honestly only took six weeks from the time I submitted our application to the time we received our NSNP approval!  Russell and Del made it so easy. From the first time my wife and I spoke to Russell over the phone, we knew that they would be the team to make our families dreams come true.

Russell and Del are straight-forward, extremely knowledgeable about the emigration process and honest. They helped us every step of the way, systematically going through everything in great detail. They were thorough, leaving nothing to chance.

Russell’s professionalism and his giving 300% to our case, convinced us that not only would we soon be living and working in Canada, but that we had also found a wonderful friend.  My family and I are now in the process of preparing to move to Nova Scotia; a beautiful and vibrant part of Canada. We also had the good fortune of meeting Russ in Vancouver and Halifax.

If it is your desire to join the many others from around the world who have successfully emigrated to Canada; then look no further, Avatar Immigration and its fantastic team and will do everything possible to make that desire a reality.

Having spent three weeks touring British Columbia & Alberta in the early summer of 2004, my wife and I were completely bowled over by the Canadian way of life, the kindness and consideration shown by everyone we met.

When we got back to England we decided after much soul searching and investigation to immigrate to Alberta.

There were many Immigration companies in the market place, but only one stood out from the crowd. Needless to say AI were chosen for the seemingly impossible task of putting us through the process. We cannot speak more highly of Delphine and Russell’s integrity, friendly soft approach, professionalism and attention to the all important small details. The proof came in the post in the form of our File number – in only four weeks after submission of the paperwork.

We are now awaiting the notification of our medical exams and are now ‘clearing the decks’ in order to start a new life in Canada.

I have investigated the employment market and after landing will enroll on an accredited training program leading to certification and a career in order to seamlessly integrate into Canadian society.

I shall be following in my Uncle’s footsteps, who many years before emigrated from Staffordshire and made a very successful life with his family.

You can see from the photograph what we got up to in Canada and intend to do so again along with many other activities.

We started our quest for immigration information for Canada months ago. We read most of the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) site and started to download and print the immigration forms. You see, based on all the information we could gather and after lots of research we concluded that we had only 52 points. This was 15 short of the 67 required by CIC. So we decided to consult an immigration lawyer/consultant to see if we had a realistic chance, after all, it's not free to fill out an assessment, and we had to be sure we had a chance.

Having searched Google and filled in numerous immigration assessments (and there are a lot out there!!), emigrating to Canada looked doubtful, they all said "thanks, but no thanks.". Things were starting to look kind of low. Persist I did, until I happened across www.russcanada.com, "another assessment to do" - I thought.  Then I read some of the testimonials, hmmm, worth a go.  So I filled it in and got a 52 point score back ~ as expected. We then did something unusual - free communication with the consultant ~ Russell - no charge.  After a little discussion it was revealed that Russ and Del would take on our cause.  So, being a skeptic about purchasing things over the internet, I contacted a few of their previous customers (from the testimonials).

My wife (Andrea) and I decided to go forward and use AI.

Our application arrived at the London Canadian High Commission on the 9th August 2004. We were now playing the waiting game. To my surprise I received an email from Russ. I say surprise because it is the 1st September 2004.  Wow, we have a file number, so our application has passed "paper screening". Now we are back in the waiting game again, but at least we are over the first hurdle and in the running. Our thanks go to AI, special thanks to Del for all her patience and help. We look forward to Russ' next email.

If you use AI you will have no regrets.  If you decide not to use AI, be prepared to be disappointed.

Kind Regards,

Dear Russ,

This is a testimony written without reservation and with considerable delight.

We have just received our AOR with awesome speed and ease. I had envisaged that even with help, we were undertaking a difficult and complex process that would be drawn out and draining. Instead, with some very considerate hand holding and expert guidance, we are now well on our way to our new lives in Canada.

No question has been too silly, no detail too troublesome. Explanations have been clear and replies – considering the time difference - bordering the instantaneous. We have been made to feel truly special and valued as clients. We have been treated as friends - and this is what we have become.

The decision to emigrate is probably one of the biggest choices you will ever make in your life. Finding someone you can really trust to help you with that step therefore assumes immense significance. We found Russ and Del as if guided to do so and we’ve been giving thanks ever since. If you’re reading this, perhaps you have been guided too. Availing yourself of their services is a decision you will certainly not regret.

Dear Del,

Thank you for the news that my application for a Canadian Permanent Resident has been granted a case number.  This is very significant and the turn round time has been very prompt - less than 4 weeks after we filed the application - which as you recall was timed to arrive the day before my birthday - as this would ensure I could qualify for an additional 2 points.

As you know, as part of my current employment I have lived in numerous countries around the world and have been through many immigration process in my life time - including "difficult" countries like the US, Australia, the UK - and even Canada twice before.

This normally involved my employer engaging "big name" law firms - in London or New York - to process my application. This application to Canada is my own - and your team - and your General Manager, Del in particular - has far exceeded my experience with any of those organizations.

In particular it was a real challenge to gather all the information to in time for a submission before my birthday as I only engaged you two weeks prior - and the fact that CIC has responded so promptly is a testament to how thorough the application is!

So CONGRATULATIONS on providing a great service!

My husband and I wanted to fulfill our dreams of starting a new life in Canada. In order to achieve that goal, we spent a lot of money and time, and traveled only to be let down eventually.

We felt that we weren't important enough and so  I sent a personal letter to the Canadian Embassy in London and asked if I could receive some material that would help us.

They gave me a copy of the Canada News and in it I came across an article about a family who were overjoyed at succeeding almost painlessly. The web site mentioned in the article was www.russcanada.com.  Inspired, I logged on immediately and completed a self assessment form.  I got a response on the same evening.

Russell is very attentive, supportive and delivers everything precisely to make sure that you make it.  You feel important and also gain trust and friendship throughout. Five months on I now have my file number. I would place Russell and his company second to none.

Hi Russ,

As you well know, my wife and I had our honeymoon in Niagara. We had a wonderful time, but we also fell in love with the Canadian way of life.

When we returned to the UK, we kept asking ourselves what life would be like for us in Canada. So one evening we decided to do a little research on the Internet to see if we could make our dreams come true. We came across many agencies and solicitors, who were full of promises and false hope and they all insisted on big bucks up front.

Weeks and months went by and we were getting fed up of false promises and "rogue traders" as they say in the UK. But we never gave up!!

Then one fine morning we came across AI.

AI was just what we were looking for. We were so excited after browsing through the AI website, that we decided to take the first step and fill in the free assessment.

Look up skeptics in the dictionary and you'll see a picture of my and my wife smiling back at you. However, after Russ responded to our assessment very quickly and after speaking to him over the phone, we were 100% sure that all our dreams in Canada would come true!!!!

On the 13th of July 2004 we got the call we were waiting for....."YESSS!!!!", it was from our good friend Russ giving us the news that we had received our file number. Listening to his voice, full of excitement, confidence and reassurance, gave us such a lift, that we still find it hard to sleep to this day, ha ha!!!!

Our good friend Ryan at AI also guided us each step of the way with confidence and exceptional professionalism.

Russ, Ryan & all the staff at AI have become our dream makers but most importantly our friends.

Do you wish to live your dream in Canada? Well..... Russ and his team at AI will most definitely make this dream into a reality for you!!!!!!!!!

Thanks and God bless to Russ and all at AI.

Me & my wife are more than willing to chat to anyone if they have questions about AI.

Canada - My Story

I thought that to get to Canada you needed to have secured a job and someone to sponsor you, thoughts about living over there never crossed my mind.

I'd heard that Vancouver was once voted as the best city in the world to live in. Lucky people I thought, but as it was still raining in the UK why leave?
