Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program
The Prince Edward Island Investor Partner Program is an exciting way to enter Canada to settle in the beautiful Province of PEI, which is aptly named the Gentle Island. It allows you to contribute to the growth of the local economy by investing in a company in PEI while enjoying all that PEI has to offer.
Qualifications RequiredIn order to qualify for the PEI program, you should have the following: 1) You must have a minimum net worth of CAD $400,000. This means all of your cash, real estate and business assets, minus any loans or outstanding mortgages you have. 2) Ideally you would be 55 years old or younger. 3) You would have at least 14 years of full time education. A-levels or GCSEs alone are not good enough. You must have some post-secondary qualifications. 4) Ideally you are capable of being interviewed in English or French. If you are reading a translated version of this page, you may still apply but will have to pay a deposit of CAD $20,000 to the government of PEI. This deposit will be refunded to you when you can prove that you can speak, read, write and understand either English or French with a moderate level of proficiency. 5) Ideally you would have several years of management (or, preferably,
business ownership) experience in a sector which is relevant to the PEI
economy.
